Bulky items that cannot fit in the overhead compartment such as guitars and other musical instruments should be checked in. Please ensure the item is in a proper package to avoid breakage.  If the passenger cannot provide adequate packaging at the time of check in, Philippine Airlines will tag the item as a limited release baggage and will not be held liable for any damage that may occur during transit.
